I think because I grew up in Florida, Groundhog day was never that big of a holiday.  What?  A groundhog?  What’s that?  We don’t have those here.  We have manatees.  Because what are manatees but ocean-like groundhogs?  Some people call them “sea-cows” but I will call them “sea-groundhogs.”
